Is it necessary to add articles to an extensive guide of attractions, restaurants, people/culture, etc.?
Seems many of the listings I've posted are quasi-articles.
Strange but true that I haven't written any articles about the city I'm working on (and where I live). If I did write articles for the guide, I'd prefer to write about things that don't fit under a subheader (e.g. "A Day in L.A." which begins with a recommended place for breakfast, museum, lunch, beach walk, dinner, jazz club). But where would I list it?
You don't need to write articles AND listings. It is fine if you have listings only.
Entries of the type "A day in LA" would be best under "Walks, Tours & Itinieraries". However, these would also be "Listings" (and not "Articles") there - with the starting point as the map location and quick facts such as length of tour, food/drink stops, etc.
