Lub d Bangkok - Silom

With a downtown location conveniently placed in Silom, Bangkok's business district, Lub d - Silom hostel is surrounded by a plethora of shops, coffee shops, restaurants, bars and nightclubs. Silom buzzes from early morning until late night. Travellers are connected via the nearby BTS skytrain and the pier for boat rides.

Lub d Bangkok Silom is designed by famous hotel designers. It offers 8-bed dormitories, ladies-only dormitories, private rooms for 1-2 people and normal double bed hotel rooms with a private bathroom. All rooms are clean, comfortable and have air conditioning.

There's a TV room, free WiFi and free use of the nine internet terminals and luggage storage. There are do-it-yourself laundry services for around 60 baht. The colorful bar offers breakfast, snacks and beverages until midnight (2 beers for 100 baht).

Booking is cheaper if done via the web compared to just walking in.

From Bangkok International Suvarnabhumi Airport

Taxi

If you arrive at Bangkok International Suvarnabhumi Airport, metered taxi can be found at Level 1 near Gate 4 and 7. Fare charged according to the distance traveled plus a fee of THB 50 for the driver. If you use express way, you will need to pay extra toll fees. Total cost approximately THB 400-500. During rush hours, it might cost more.

Airport Shuttle Bus or Airport Express

Airport Express provides air-conditioned bus service from Suvarnabhumi Airport and hotels in downtown Bangkok. Take the bus to Sofitel Silom Hotel, and walk to Decho Road. Within less than 5 minutes, you’ll arrive at Lub d.

Contact Airport Express Bus at counter on level 1 near Gate 8 Between 5am - midnight, 7 days a week (Fare 150 Baht).

Airport Rail Link

To go to Lub d Bangkok - Silom by the airport link, you need to take City Line to Phayathai Station (terminal station), which is connected to Phayathai Skytrain Station. From there, you will need to take the skytrain to Chong Nonsi Station (25 THB). Don’t forget to change the train at Siam Station - same floor, opposite platform. At Chong Nonsi Station, go out at Exit 3 and keep walking until you meet Silom Road. Turn left at the intersection and walk pass Sofitel to the next intersection (Decho Intersection) with traffic light. Then turn right there, keep walking for about 100 meters, you will find us on the left hand side with yellow chairs in front of the building. City Line’s fare starts from 15 baht up to 45 baht. Total traveling time to Lub d is no more than 1 hour.
