Schöneberg has plenty of many different gay bars, clubs and cafes. And they are all situated in one area, mostly around underground station (U Bahn) Nollendorfplatz (also called shortly "Nolli").
In Berlin they somehow expect you to leave at least 10% tip of the price you consumed and they really respect it.But you are not obligated and on the receipts there will be no tip calculated. Sometime in, for example, self serviced bars or coffee shops there is at the bar (cash desk), a glass where people leave their tip.
