Blairsville and the entire north Georgia Mountains are at their best from spring through late fall. Beginning in May or June, dogwoods bloom followed in succession by mountain laurel, wild azalea and rhododendron. Wildflowers bloom everywhere. Summer is quite pleasant. Winter is beautiful there but snow and ice make driving difficult if you are not used to that weather.
