Frankfurt Book Fair

The Frankfurt Book Fair is the largest book fair in the world. Held annually on October, the fair hosts more than 7,300 exhibitors from over 100 countries and is the most important marketplace worldwide for books, media, rights and licences.

Having your own title showcased on the fair is a tremendous opportunity. The Frankfurt Book Fair is a meeting place for the industry’s experts. All renowned publishers are present, together with booksellers, agents and authors. Publishers and agents are on the lookout for new titles, new writers and international licensing opportunities. Authors wander the hallways to meet and greet old friends as well as to discover new publishers and to pitch their titles and ideas.

From October 17-18, the fair is open to the general public. More than 299,000 readers and potential customers flock the halls. Hall 3, where your title will be displayed in our booth, is probably the most lively hall on the whole fair - imagine how many readers will find out about your title and you as a writer!

And if it gets too much, you are always welcome in our booth in Hall 3 for a refreshing drink or an energizing cup of coffee. Use our booth as a place to rest, to check your emails (free internet access is provided), and as a basis for your explorations of the fair. We can even plan appointments for you while you are exploring the fair!
