Inka, You are an absolute joy to read and your photography is second to none. EXCELLENT! Oh how I wish I could board a plane and see first hand what you have seen and shared.
After reading has given me the perfect excuse to return to Spain & visit this wonderful & stunning little part of the world which has been kept very quiet. I feel I can be very relaxed here whilst enjoying the beautiful scenery & learning their anicent traditions.
Besides the beautiful photography, there are excellent tips that every tourist should know when traveling to Galicia, such as bringing trash bags to Vigo! I actually spent six weeks traveling throughout Spain a few years ago and I find this guide thorough, complete and enjoyable to read. At the time, I was a single woman traveler, so I also find the information very accurate. A great guide overall!
I enjoyed what I learned about this little know portion of the world. The pictures here made Galicia very enticing, and I would love to visit it sometime. I also find it very useful to have a guide written with advice for a single woman traveler. Too seldom do guide books take into account the problems that can arise for women traveling alone. I would be interested in seeing other guides from this perspective.
Good information made me want to see more of this off the beaton track place some good pictures would not have thought of this place rom MR a single traveler
I found this both interesting and informative. It gave me a sense of what to expect and it covers lots of aspects of travelling through an area which is maybe not so well known.. I will put this place on my long list of places to visit.
