A handsome and atmospheric granite fortress of a building, Juttutupa has Socialist party connections but is frequented by all sorts, especially music-lovers, who fill out the place for regualr Wednesday night Rytmihäriö Jazz Club gigs. Stand-up comics and blues bands also figure on Saturdays, and the kitchen serves generous portions (including sumptuous and affordable pizzas) in the main pub as well as in the adjacent Marco Plo bar and restaurant. A lively outdoor patio in summer. A Helsinki institution, and recommended.
