Is Singapore overrated?

Why do most travellers like going (and returning) to Singapore? Tourist attractions, shopping and culture-spots can only go so far in my opinion. What do you think makes travellers come back for more?

I think many travellers come to Singapore as a stopover or in transit... maybe in that short period of exploring in between flights, they don't see everything but they do see enough to make them want to come back and explore more. dyou reckon that's the case?

There are a few things that Singapore offers - not everything - no great walks or outdoor life, no great beaches or ski slopes.... But what it does offer is world-class and that's enough. Don't try and be good at everything - be great and world-class at a few.
