It supports a bewildering variety of animals, birds, reptiles and insects--a nature lover's paradise. Just a drive to any destination will afford you scenic views: lakes, rivers, lush green plantations, palm and betel nut trees, fields of paddy and cereals....with the stark contrast of the gigantic boulders that you will see on the Bengaluru-Mysore highway. Whatever your interests, it's a certain feast for the eyes!
