Koh Phi Phi is a must-visit for many who are travelling to Phuket and Krabi. It is a 1.5 hours ferry ride away from either of the two, and known as one of the most beautiful islands in the world, featuring stunning beaches, superb diving and snorkeling and a marvelous limestone landscape.
Koh Phi Phi is a popular destination to visit from Singapore, but it takes longer to get there than to Phuket.
Flight and Ferry from Singapore to Koh Phi Phi
Fly from Singapore to Phuket or Krabi. There are much more flights to Phuket, so this is the easier option. Check Jetstar, Tiger Airways and Air Asia for low budget flights.
From Phuket Airport to the Ferry Terminal
If you do not intend to stay on Phuket, you can take a direct taxi from the airport to the ferry terminal on Phuket's east coast. Expect to pay 700 Baht for the ride.
It is cheaper to buy the ferry ticket through an agent in Phuket. In most cases, such ferry tickets also include a transport by minibus to the ferry terminal. The minibus will pick you up from your hotel and bring you to the ferry terminal on time.
However, these buses pick up a lot of tourists (and some of them are always late in the morning hours!), so a taxi is a faster and more comfortable option.
