On the ground floor of The Annex Gallery is Maya Gems Arts, where artworks of landscapes and religious deities that appear to be paintings from afar reveal themselves, upon closer inspection, to be made from gem stones and crystals instead. Prices for these painstakingly put-together pieces of art are high, starting from RM400. Interested parties should know that there is no pressure from the shopkeepers to purchase anything, in fact they really don't mind if you want to look around and snap a few photos - as long as you ask first.
