There is not a large choice for places to stay in the Kunigami area, due to the lack of villages. At the far north part of Kunigami, you can find Oku Yanbaru No Sato in Oku Village. This is a very pleasant accommodation option located on the side of a river. Ideal for those wanting to see Hedo Misaki at sunrise and star gaze at night.
Further south there is the JAL Private Resort Okuma for a more refined accommodation experience. Only a couple of kilometres away is the Hiji Falls camping area where you can hire a tent for the night.
