Yui Yui Kunigami is known as a Michi no Eki or a road station. Road stations are very useful for overseas visitors as they are big and easy to spot, have free parking and are conveniently located next to main roads.
Yui Yui Kunigami has the usual restaurants, rest rooms and souvenir shops. It is also bigger than most and has a museum area and a comprehensive tourist information area.
The restaurant serves simple Okinawan dishes and special set menus which include soup and salad are around ¥700. On the right side of the entrance there is also an outdoor rest area where you can enjoy snacks and refreshments.
On the road side of the parking lot is a stall selling locally produced fruit and vegetables.
