This museum has a multitude of interactive components that will beguile any child, or inner child. The hottest ticket is especially dazzling, and a permanent exhibit - the space shuttle Endeavor. This collection also features one of the Apollo capsules and an ancient Gemini module.
The aquarium area has a tunnel area you can walk through and see all the fish and divers; likewise for the new outdoor tanks on the second floor patio. "Ecosystems" is another exhibit area that explains effectively through visuals, text and interactive devices the interconnectivity of living things. This alone could easily take 1 1/2 hours to sift through, and for the uber-curious scientific minds, the entire museum deserves a three hour scrutiny.
This place is a revelation for kids due to all the hands-on displays. It's a great place to get them interested in science, or arouse a renaissance of interest in the science-deprived adults among us.
