Timotel Hotel

A mid-range hotel on the other side of the bridge over Sungei Mersing or Mersing River, Timotel Hotel is a little further away from the main cluster of accommodation options in Mersing, but is completely worth going the extra distance.

Timotel Hotel is cast in elegant grays and blacks and complimented with dim lights illuminating long carpeted corridors. A cosy but spacious standard room with a double bed starts at RM150 (inclusive of complimentary breakfast), complete with a bedside lamp and two rattan chairs next to the window. Toilets are large, cast in clean whites and come with hot water, towels, soap and toilet paper. You won't get much traffic around Timotel Hotel either, due to its location.

In-house food options consist of Mersing Cafe and Terama Coffee House. A meal of Ayam Penyet or Char Kway Teow (local favourites) costs only RM10 and comes with fresh juice of your choice. Specially made iced coffee costs RM5.
