Tsuboya Odori is the main street in the pottery making area of Naha City. It is a fascinating area to wander around and is generally less crowded than Kokusai Dori and Heiwa Dori. Learn more about the history of pottery making in the area at the Tsuboya Pottery Museum.
From there the best way to enjoy the Tsuboya area is to take the small back roads, some of which look more like paths than roads, where you will be able to observe several working kilns. You can even make a pot of your own. At the end of Tsuboya Odori you can try the old water pump which is still in working order. Along the main road, Tsuboya Odori, there are numerous shops selling locally produced pottery and cafes such as Fuenukama where you can take a short break for something to drink.
Describe the main aspects of Tsuboya Odori. Write in the 2nd person ('go there/when we went' instead of 'I went/this writer went/one can go'). Tell it as it is, but stick to the facts. Do not enter another listing here; create a
