Resorts and chalets can usually arrange snorkelling and diving trips for you if you make prior arrangements. Normal hotspots are Renggis Island, Monkey Bay and Coral Island. Otherwise, there are plenty of independent dive operators to fulfill this function as well. Due to its popularity with tourists, Salang has the most number of diving centers.
Rond-the-island trips are also easily arranged on Pulau Tioman.
Trekking
Trekking is also a viable option with the most rewarding one being the Tekek-Juara Trek, which takes you across the island to a secluded village with gorgeous beaches on the east coast of Tioman.
