Nazri's II, located on the left side of the jetty, is built on a hill amidst shady trees, providing much-needed relief from the equatorial sun. Rooms here are fresh-smelling and well-maintained with clean linen and tiled floors. RM60 will get you a double bed with a powerful ceiling fan. As usual, the more expensive rooms come with added amenities such as air-con, hot water and spacious verandahs.
Nazri's II is probably one of the best places to stay at Air Batang, due to its cheap but comfortable lodgings and - here comes the deal clincher - its proximity to good food and cheap alcohol. Their excellent in-house restaurant, called Hijau Restaurant, opens for breakfast and dinner, and right outside the entrance to the chalet is Hallo Bar, where you can get 3 beers for RM10 and cocktails for RM8 during happy hours.
