Get together with your friends for some kite-flying this weekend!

Back for the second time, this free event, which does not take rain check for an answer, will be a visual treat for the eyes and soul as acclaimed kite masters are invited to showcase their original kite designs at the Promontory@Marina Bay.

If you cannot imagine this old-school activity getting artistic and sophisticated, there’s more – there will be dance performances, music and kite-making workshops conducted by artists from Malaysia, Australia, China, Japan, Thailand, Canada, England and America.

You can be an artist yourself by participating in the Kite Making competition, as long as you are aged 9 and above. Make your own kite on the spot and you stand a chance to win the 1st prize of $200 voucher and a kite!
