Changi Village is located at the northeastern end of Singapore. Although it is called a village, it is nothing like a village in the traditional sense and is rather more of a housing estate. It is famous for its laid-back atmosphere, which is in stark contrast to the hectic lifestyle of Singapore.

The buildings here stand out as they are mostly coloured red. Some of the amenities found here include the Changi Village Hotel, the Changi Point Ferry Terminal where small passenger ferries operate to ferry passengers to and from the nearby Pulau Ubin or some parts of Johor, the Changi Sailing Club, some government chalets and a hawker centre.

The hawker centre is usually crowded and is quite well-known for its nasi lemak stalls, which is a Malay rice dish with dried anchovies and chilli usually accompanied by chicken. Bargain buys are also frequent here in many of the quaint shophouses throughout Changi Village. Changi Village is also notorious for the transvestites that trawl the carpark late at night offering their services.

From Tanah Merah MRT, take bus no. '9' and alight at Telok Paku Road.
