People's Park Centre is located in the vicinity of Chinatown MRT station. Chiefly a shopping mall, it also houses residential apartments and offices. The shopping centre occupies the first four floors of the building and houses a number of travel agencies, massage parlours and Chinese handicrafts and souvenir shops. It is usually crowded on weekends as the prices here are reasonable so be prepared to squeeze if you decide to visit on a weekend. More popular with the older generation than with the teenagers.
