New Asia Bar sits on the 71st storey of Swissotel the Stamford, a central point in the Colonial District. This bar and club is a favourite amongst the after work crowd and the occasional tourist who want a bird's eye view of Singapore's city centre.
New Asia Bar is one of the best places to see Singapore from above. The walls are made of glass and you can sit on comfortable lounge chairs while you enjoy the view. Come here around 6pm for happy hour prices and sunset setting. During daytime, you can enter in short pants. In the evening, a dress code for males is imposed, which basically means you have to wear full-length pants or trousers and closed shoes. Jeans and sneakers will do.
Every Tuesday, New Asia Bar holds an After Work Party, a chance to network and socialise with the flashy businessmen and glitterrati of Singapore. Drinks are discounted on these nights.
