Kranji is located in the Northwestern corner of Singapore, and it is affectionately known among the farmers as the Wild Wild West!
There are several farms open to the public for touring, including organic vegetable farms, landscape farms, goat farms, frog farms and fish farms, among others.
Some farms also have eateries onsite, like Poison Ivy at Bollywood Veggies, Petals and Leaves at Gardenasia, De Beer Seafood Restaurant at D'Kranji Farm Resort and Farmart Centre. Enjoy Singapore's very own precious countryside.
Directions
It's best to have your own transport, as Kranji is very far away from it all. If you are coming by public transportation, the Kranji Express leaves daily from Kranji MRT every 1.5 hours starting from 9am. The last bus leaves at 4.30pm. The Kranji Express goes to 10 participating farms, details can be found at www.kranjicountryside.com Other farms such as D'Kranji Farm Resort, Qian Hu Corporation and Farmart Centre also operate their own shuttle services from Yew Tee and Choa Chu Kang MRT stations.
