Add a Point to the Map

The Sentosa Luge & Skyride was opened in 2005 and offers a modest thrill ride suitable for most ages.

It is comprised of two parts, namely the Luge and the Skyride. You can choose to begin with either but the starting point for the Luge is located at Imbiah Lookout so if you choose to start from Imbiah Lookout, you will get to do the Luge first then followed by the Skyride. If you choose to start from Siloso Beach then you will get to do the Skyride first followed by the Luge.

The Luge is a non-motorised three-wheel cart originating from New Zealand and is relatively easy to manoeuvre as you just have to either push the handlebar forward to speed up or pull it back to stop. Riders will get to speed downhill along the Jungle Trail or the Dragon Trail, which are the two trails of the course. The length of the two trails is about 650 metres on average. Experienced riders will find a bit slow though.

The Skyride is similar to a ski lift and visitors will get to enjoy scenic tree-top views of Sentosa as the ride slowly moves along. Each Skyride compartment can sit up to 4 people at any one time but the compartments come along relatively quickly so the waiting time is not very long.

Take note that the queue for the Luge can be relatively long as many people purchase the package that allows them to go for multiple rides. The Skyride is also not recommended for those with a fear of heights as it does rise to a relatively high height.
