Singapore may be small, but there is a lot to see, do and eat. For the major attractions, 3-5 days are sufficient. With this little time, your exploration should be well planned. One way to do this is to organise your sightseeing by districts or you could save yourself the trouble and follow one of our itineraries.
The 1-day itinerary is a full day of walking, showcasing most of the sights and attractions in the city centre. It covers enough ground to be split up into two days. The 3-day itinerary is a more relaxed plan, with visits to some of the main attractions outside the centre like the Singapore Zoo. The 5-day itinerary covers all important attractions in the centre as well as the major ones outside, like Sentosa and Holland Village. Finally, we have Extension Ideas if you stay longer, with visits to some little-known attractions like Asia Pacific Breweries and the Southern Islands. These are also perfect for weekend daytrips.
Our walking tours lead you through the highlights of every major district. Here are some of the favorites, also see the others below:
Chinatown and CBD Walking Tour: A diverse tour with visits to Thian Hock Keng Temple, Maxwell Food Centre and the Chinatown Heritage Centre.
Colonial District Walking Tour: Museums, history and some crazy shopping; with the National Museum of Singapore, the Peranakan Museum, War Memorial Park, Raffles City and Bugis Street.
Kampong Glam Walking & Shopping Tour: Arts, history and culture; including the iconic Sultan Mosque and Arab Street with its plethora of Middle Eastern carpet stores and textile shops.
Southern Ridges Walking Tour: Gardens, nature, and some interesting bridges and beautiful views of the western skyline.
Little India Walking Tour: Religious diversity with sightseeing at Abdul Gaffoor Mosque, Kampong Kapor Methodist Church and Sri Veeramakaliamman Temple. And a 'can-you-take-it?' spicy food test.
Orchard Road Walking Tour: With some of the newest malls on Orchard like ION Orchard and Orchard Central, the highest mall in Singapore. Also takes in some cultural sights and the famous Botanic Gardens.
