Masjid Temenggong Daeng Ibrahim, locally known as Telok Blangah State of Johor Mosque, is a small mosque on Telok Blangah Road.

Situated about a 10 minutes’ walk away from Harbourfront MRT Station, it is the only mosque in Singapore managed by the state government of Johor, Malaysia.

It was originally built in 1890 and named after Daeng Ibrahim, son of Temenggong Abdul Rahman. History buffs may want to pay a visit to the mosque as the Temenggong's tomb lies within a small unkempt cemetery surrounding the Johor Royal Mosouleum located within the mosque's compound.

He was an important figure in Singapore's history as he was the chief officer of public security in Singapore in the 1800s who together with Sultan Hussein Shah, signed a treaty with Sir Stamford Raffles that began the British colonization of Singapore.
Masjid Temenggong Daeng Ibrahim was rebuilt in 1993 and currently displays a simple exterior architecture of green roof tiles and whitewashed walls. Its building consists of only one level and houses a small and simply decorated prayer hall.

Note the design of the doors and balcony of the prayer hall, which is typical of colonial architectural style. Entry into the mosque is only permitted to members as it is an operating place of worship but a view from its gates would suffice.
