Located in the Harbourfront precinct is one of the largest shopping mall in Singapore, VivoCity. An integrated waterfront retail, recreation, and lifestyle hub, it officially opened on 1 December 2006 and remains a highly popular shopping and dining destination for locals and tourists alike. It sees high volumes of human traffic all through its 90,000 square metres of space especially during weekends and holidays.

There are over 300 different stores in VivoCity, from electronics stores like Harvey Norman to surf shops like Quiksilver, common brand clothing stores like Zara and Armani Exchange to interesting retail concept stores like the National Geographic Store and children's stores like Pumpkin Patch and Kidsfun. Daiso is a Japanese departmental store where almost everything sells at S$2, a great alternative venue for those on a budget.

A one-stop-shop satisfying almost all retail cravings, VivoCity also comes with a 300 meters long promenade with alfresco dining overlooking the harbor and Sentosa.

Brotzeit German Bier Bar and Restaurant is one of the restaurants located along this promenade and dining here in VivoCity with good food and breathtaking views for an unforgettable experience.

VivoCity was designed by renowned Japanese architect Toyo Ito, who got his inspiration for the architecture of the building from its harbourfront location. Truly, distinctive wave patterns on its facade and within the mall remind one of the waves in the sea.

A recreation and lifestyle hub, VivoCity is also a family-oriented destination with an outdoor children's playground located on level 2 and Sky Park, a rooftop park with an open-air amphitheatre and a water feature that has been taken as a 'wading pool' located on level 3.

Lively and noisy especially during the weekend, the Sky Park carries a relaxed, casual and almost beach-like atmosphere allowing VivoCity to live up to its name which is derived from the word Sentosa.
