The name of my guide app was changed by Nileguide, can I change it to what I actually want?

I am starting my "The Professional Tourist's Guide to Munich", but I've hit a glitch in the system and don't know how to fix it. I go to what is supposed to be my website for the app, and it gives me http://www.guidegecko.com/munich/professional-tourists/p,268609,10062 …as you can see the title there is “Munich for Professional Tourists”, which is quite a different thing. I have spent several years of “branding” using “The Professional Tourist” as my brand….I am the Professional Tourist, it is not a guide FOR professional tourists, or I would only get 50 people to ever look at it. It is meant to be a guide for people who want the best information not from a guy who lives in Seattle (Rick Steves) or random backpackers who have only visited a couple times (lonely planet), but by someone who lives in the area, loves history, the culture, and still can feel like a tourist himself because of his outlook on life…as a professional tourist.

Is it possible to change the name to “The Professional Tourist’s Guide to Munich” as I had originally proposed?
I don't understand why someone changed it in the first place.

Thanks Daniel,

I guess "Munich by The Professional Tourist" is alright for the page. It's also great that the app can still have the original name.

Also, oh crap...I'm really sorry about the flub...popping from site to site working yesterday I must have got a wire crossed.

Thanks again...

Munich by the Professional Tourist sounds like a good title. Actually clearer than either the original or the current title.

Hi Protourist,

On the website, every guide must begin with the destination name. In your case "Munich xxx", not "xxx Munich". This is also stated in the [help?] for "working title" on http://www.guidegecko.com/apply.

How about we change it to "Munich by the Professional Tourist" or "Munich Professional Tourist"?

Note: This only applies for the website. We are more flexible for the app, and can call the app anything you like.

Cheers,
Daniel
P.S. Talking about names, ... this is GuideGecko, not Nileguide. ;-)

I don't know why it was changed, but my first impression is that The Professional Tourist's Guide suggests that it is FOR the collective professional tourist, rather than by the Professional Tourist. So I can see why there might be a misunderstanding. I'm afraid Professional does rather imply that the person in question is making a living out of the activity too - presumably this is not the case, then?
