Where can I Find a List of the Entries I´ve Made?

I can´t seem to find anywhere the entries I´ve done, is there a list of all my listings so I can review them?

Hi,

As you requested, we have now added a page with all articles and listings that you have created. In addition, it also gives you some stats on your articles and pinpoints you to potential problems. The new page is available as a link from http://www.guidegecko.com/userhome (see step 6 on that page).

Thanks again for your feedback, and please let me know if there are other ways we can improve!

Best,
Daniel

That's fine. The 'empty' districts will not be included in the app and eBook, only the listings under them.

Thanks Daniel. I was worried, as there will not be any general content for the districts, simply the listings under them.

Yes, when you add a district for a listing, the district gets created automatically.

Hi Daniel,

Thanks for the link to entries--I too had missed it! However, I just looked at it and find that it includes names of the districts (13 of them!) for which there is no individual content, and they are not under listings. I'm not sure how that happened--when I add a district for an article, does it get listed automatically? I hope I haven't gone wrong somewhere!

Thanks very much,
Nita

This cannot be deleted because you have a hotel inside there.

Hi Rachel, can you please post a new thread for deletion requests? Got nothing to do with the original topic (also include the URL of what to delete).

Thanks,
Daniel

What woud be good is to have a list for entries relevant to the guide we´re working on. ie my guide is on Jaén, an entry I have under expert is for Europe, which isn´t going to be included in a guide for Jaén-

So (I´m thinking here) what I want is a list just for my guide book entries. Does that make sense?

The points basically mean how active you are. See also the "leaderbaord" at http://www.guidegecko.com/community.

Brilliant, thank you Daniel. Just what I was trying to find.

What do the points mean and what is the relevance to the cms.

Actually, such a list exists: http://www.guidegecko.com/places#expert

Let me know what other information would be helpful on this page, in addition to having it grouped by section (we might improve this page if there is a need).

Daniel

Hi Daniel,

That is exactly what I was hoping for when I asked about lists. A simple list showing every addition, easy to see what we´ve done, the amount we´ve done.

I thought in my profile somewhere there would be an article list.

Maybe helpful in sections to see if they are reasonably balanced ie. so we can see that we´ve 8 attractions and only 2 restaurants.

I have also found it helpful to keep my own list in Word. That helps me remember what I have added in a convenient easy to browse list form. Basically, just the title of every single listing and article is added to the list.

Hi Rachel,

Each entry is listed in the section that you created it in. Articles are listed immediately below the main section text. Listings are displayed on the map. If a listing does not show on the map, it means that you haven't saved the map location yet.

Click on "Display all..." above the map, and you will see a list of all listings. Then open the listings, place the map marker (you can drag it around on the map), and click save. Reload the section page, the listing should now show on the map.

Best,
Daniel
